The main objective of the System Development Procedure is to ensure that standardized methods and procedures are used for efficient and prompt handling of all internal developments decided in the IT Committee. The goal of this procedure is also to clearly define all steps of the process, from the request made by the stakeholder (employee, department) to management approval and finally to promotion of the application into production.

The expression “development” applies to any application, tool, features or system being undertaken by the IT Department.
